Greetings neighbors!

So I'm wondering if I should venture out to Atlanta for my three day weekend during the 4th of July week.

Where in Atlanta has the absolute best fireworks display? I've been told that Lenox has a great show, I also heard that Stone Mountain has one as well but I know that there are more options than just those two.

What in your opinion has the best display and also what time should I arrive at that said location and are their any pointers and tips you could provide me so I can make this fun and enjoyable for myself and friends. If you would like, you can tell me WHAT TO AVOID! LOL!

Thanks in advance!

Personally, I love the fireworks in Centennial Park downtown. The city backdrop and park setting really add to the festive environment.

If you go to Stone Mountain, you have to arrive about 2-3 hours before the schedule time. Traffic is usually mess going and coming from the park during the 4th.

I've only done Lenox myself. If you are at hotel, you can get a view of Lenox, Centennial Park and if it's a clear day, you can see the fireworks from Stone Mountain as well.
