Whoever ranked Atlanta in the top 10 must have never actually lived in Atlanta without a car and tried to walk everywhere. I lived in Atlanta my first five years without a car, then again my last 8 months in Buckhead without a car before leaving GA in February.

Trying to get around Atlanta on foot was hell on both occasions. It only has sidewalks in patches and in some areas the sidewalks are all busted up because of the tree roots, making them unsafe to walk on. You will trip and bust your face if you aren't careful.

This is a public forum. As long as I'm not violating the TOS, I can express my experiences as I choose.

You know...I've been on the Atlanta form for a year now and I am bewildered as to why whenever there is a positive article about Atlanta people go out of their way to discredit the author and disprove the validity of the article itself. I moved here from Orlando and I can honestly say that there is no comparison. Atlanta must be doing something right because no other form is bombarded with this amount of negativity...just WOW

Get used to it...some people make it their mission to criticize Atlanta at any opportunity. It's pathetic.
