+1 for bike lanes, -2 for the U-turn lanes that will make the plazas unused as vehicles will be going too fast to pay attention to peds trying to access them.

On March 2nd, the Smyrna City Council voted 6-1 to spend $29.5 million on a contract to begin work on the project to convert part of Windy Hill Road into an urban boulevard and linear park.

I will be affected by this as I live off Windy Hill. Cobb and Smyrna are already trying to rezone numerous lots in the vicinity for new business owners that want to open up shop because of this development. Our neighborhood is only going to fight the rezoning to allow a gas station right beside us but lots of changes are definitely coming to the area.
