I'm moving to Powder Springs in less than a month due to a job relocation and from what I've seen of the area, I like it. We're moving to a subdivison just south of downtown PS. My question is, where are retail stores located? What kind of shopping is there? Or would I have to drive to Marietta or Hiram? Also interested in restuarants (I did find a La Parilla, which is awesome)

What type of shopping are you asking about? If you are asking about Big Box stores - you will likely be close to Austell, GA and many of the shops along the East-West Connector.

Anything, really. Just want to know my options-- big box, mom and pop, farmers markets, flea markets, etc..

East-West Connector. Yes, there's also a little on Sailer's Parkway. Some things you may find on Thornton Rd as well (if you stay on CH James towards I-20).
