I made a right turn went 3300 ft and stopped for a left turn near the signal. Cop(on the other side of the signal) stopped me saying I was at 56 miles over 35 miles.

What options I got. I haven't received any speeding ticket for 3 years(if I remember properly)

We can't offer legal advice - you will need to seek out a lawyer.

But FYI, a second speeding ticket in 3 years is still too much!

The best (and really only) advice anyone here could give you is to get yourself a lawyer.

I'm still trying to figure out if you are saying you were going 91 mph or 56 mph in a 35 mph zone. I think if it was 56 mph, you should just be able to pay it depending on the county. If you were going 91, you definitely need some legal counsel.

I doubt he was doing 91, and if he was then there really isn't anything anyone here can say that would help.

So let's assume it was 56, or 21 over. That's enough to get most insurance companies excited (or worried, depending on your point of view). If you just pay the ticket then your insurance rates could increase for a few years. Most legal firms in the area will offer a free consultation over the phone (and if they don't then you should not use them). They would tell you what your options are and how much they would charge to help you.

I know what I would do in a situation like this but I am not qualified to dispense legal advice.

Agreed!

The best advice I can give the OP is: slow down!

Fortunately for him points expire after only 24 months.

Going at 56 mph not 91
Speed limit was 35 mph
21 mph over the speed limit

Sorry for the confusion.

No points till now.

Pay the ticket and move on. People expereince much worse in life. If this is your only gripe, you're having a good life.

(1) Slow WAY down and quit endangering others.

(2) Pay the ticket. Two speeding tickets in 3 years is bad news.
