They've already done this for the McCartney concert. I don't know the exact methods they used, but they know how to do it since they already have.

Why should all this money go to the city, rather than to the Conservancy which is actually footing the bill for the park?

Quote:
Voss said Music Midtown is "a moneymaker" for the city treasury, which motivates the city to accommodate the popular festival. In 2013, Music Midtown paid the city $400,000 to use Piedmont Park.

"I'm completely confused as to who the protectors of the park really are," said Nancy Bowers, a resident of Midtown.

It is a city owned park and the city still handles some of the maintenance. But I agree that most of the money should be going to the Conservancy.

Seriously? Are you being sarcastic or ignorant? It can only be one of the two and I hope it's the former.

If you think I'm being ignorant, refute what I said. I come here for content, not tough-guy posturing. That post is from two weeks ago. You've had enough time to put together a response with some actual content.

Of course not. Which is why I indicated that I believed the delays in repairing the grass were primarily a resources problem, and not simply that the grass had not had time to regrow.

The most amusing part of this discussion is that the majority of posters that support this debacle in the park probably won't even show up for it. Party on.
