We just found out we are moving to area and my husband will be working off Northside Dr neAr new Braves stadium location. We are hoping to find a rental in East Cobb, Kennesaw or Woodstock but don't know how bad the commute is to Kennesaw/woodstock. Any input on times/best areas to look would be greatly appreciated!!

35-45 mins if you can hit the road before 7am
45-65 mins after 7am. Higher, if it is rain or accident.

Same in the evening. If you can leave before 3:30, same rules apply.

41 is Cobb Pkwy until you cross the Chatahoochee and then it's Northside. The Brave's stadium will be off Cobb Pkwy and slightly OTP. The commute from Kennesaw is absolutely horrible depending on the time he leaves. I specifically had to be pulling out my driveway at 7:07 if I wanted to keep it under two hours. Woodstock would be worse. East Cobb may be the best choice, but it would be all street traffic and no freeways.

Northside Parkway in Atlanta is Highway 41 closer to the new stadium site, it does not become Northside Drive until you get a bit further south

Northside Drive, Sandy Springs is also close to the new stadium site there is also a New Northside Drive.

Can you confirm more specifically which Northside address where you will be working? These are not very far apart but all centered near a high traffic area so coming from the wrong direction can greatly increase your commute.

Thank you! It is right off Northside drive exit on 75. I am having troublee finding a decent rental in east Cobb which is why we were looking further north. What is Smyrna like?

Northside Drive and 75 would put you closer to Ga Tech - I would not describe this area as being close to the new stadium. Smyrna would be a much better option for you and there are lots of alternative roads when traffic is bad.

What is your budget? What type of rental are you looking for?

Vinings, Cumberland, and most of Smyrna would be good. Usually people move to East Cobb for the school system. How exactly would you define a decent rental?

Sorry I just pulled map up-his work is right off exit 256 on 75. 3715 Northside Parkway. Schools aren't huge priority as we have a toddler and newborn. Needs to be safe for me to be home during day. budget is $1600 and prefer a house. I only suggested Kennesaw/Woodstock because they seem similar to what we have in Charlotte, NC where we currently live. How bad is the commute from exit 256 to south Kennesaw or N. Marietta/Woodstock area.

Thank you for advice!
