Lasership and other last mile, warehouse or post office to home delivery services are how this is accomplished. The money is made by these contractors on volume.

Actually they have a facility in East Point now. However East Point is not in the "eligible zip code" list. Someone will need to explain that to me. I may be a borderline irate customer. They better have a drone available to make it up to me.

Oh no, I did not mean you were making fun of me. I was talking about Flamadiddle.

They have a facility in CHATTANOOGA so ship it to Lasership or FedEx in Marietta and rush it out for local deliveries. Sorta explains why it is limited to the current zip codes.

I did find it odd that the same day delivery was only mentioned for areas on this side.

I love Amazon, and am a Prime member, but same day delivery? Really? It took time for me to even get used to the two day shipping! I remember ordering something, and instead of 2 day shipping, the UPS guy showed up at my door the next morning! I opened the door with a puzzled look. I said, "Um, I just ordered this last night." The UPS guy was like, "Yeah, it was just up the road at the Amazon warehouse in Kentucky. Have a nice day!"

Freaky. Now, same day delivery? Amazon is great, but seems to be doing too much too fast. Amazon Prime, the phones, the TV's, the drones.....I just feel like they might literally explode soon and their site will crash to pieces. I mean, I'm just saying, SLOW THE HECK DOWWWWN!
