I need some clarity.

Is the Center closing or are certain jobs being relocated?

NO - Not closing (they may be renting out some of the space in Atl/CNN center that they dont need anymore.

Some jobs (System Wide - All "Turner" stations) are being eliminated.

Some jobs will be moved around. Corp/Overhead, Some Newsjobs to NYC.

Thanks.

I really like that place, it would be a shame to have a big empty building like that in Atlanta.

Its "Prime" space with a "Great" address, the space will be rented out before CNN moves there people out.

Also, it Not all of CNN, Maybe a few floors, will be available, Much of the CNN center is NOT CNN now, its rented space.

Ahh, okay. Kind of like years ago, the "Sears" tower in Chicago, was mostly rented space to other tenants not Sears.

That's great. Being that it's Prime, it will attract other prime businesses.

At worst, the office space would revert back to the open market (which is what the complex did pre-CNN). Since it's a prime address, I'm sure they would have no trouble filling the place up.

Originally it was called The Omni. It opened a few years before CNN was established.

It had an ice skating rink, and a World of Sid & Marty Croft. Sort of an indoor theme park, but it failed.
