This is what Atlanta obsesses over, it's like an industry. Surprised it took them this long to have a National Center for Civil and Human Rights.

And the more you pay in taxes, the more votes you get...and guarantee everyone at least one vote.

I like how the GA Dems pushed out Connie Stokes so Jason Carter could run. Imagine what would be said if the GA GOP did that? Got to get the good ole Carter boy in!

Hopefully the group(race) of people that overwhelmingly supports Democrats in GA remembers that. You can vote for Connie Stokes without voting for Jason Carter.

Exactly. I mean one of the biggest churches in the area, First Baptist, is in Dunwoody. But of course, we know what the real deal is.

Sorry, but one person one vote, unless you are suggesting are humans lives are not equal. Why not bring back the monarchy?

The elected official will truly represents the average person in his/her district, state, or country.

Saturday is the most convenient day of the week for everyone, since Tuesday evolves work and school. I'm in favor of week early voting, mail voting, online voting, etc...
Under our constitution, voting is a right and not an obligation. I agree that it ought to be an obligation, though.

Unfortunately what is deemed a nuisance to you, is a everyday reality for too many. I would love to not have to talk about race anymore, or have to feel uncomfortable as the only black executive in the office, room, meeting or conference. That would be awesome, but until all the systematic discrimination disappears I will never have that luxury...and until then you unfortunately will not have that luxury either. Mea Culpa
Sadly this is true. While racism continues to exist, the annoyance of confronting racial realities that whites occasionally face pales in comparison to the pain of being confronted by racial realities that people of color constantly face.
