Hi.
We will be moving to the Atlanta area in January. My job is in Alpharetta, my husband is working from home. We have a High School Junior and our first priority to to get her into the right school environment. I'm trying to narrow our list of school options to 3 or 4 for visits during a week of home-finding coming up.

Our daughter is a great student - and we are worried a move at this point into a very large school will be difficult, so we are thinking private / parochial may be the way to go. Any suggestions? School size of 800 (HS enrollment) would be optimal.

Thanks in advance for the input.

The Alpharetta ([North] Fulton school / Alpharetta Mailing address (Forsyth) all have very good High Schools Public,

But they are big, ~2500 Students.

Pinecrest Academy on GA141 Forsyth = https://www.pinecrestacademy.org/ is highly thought of. I think it about 1000 students

Kings Ridge in Alpharetta is highly rated King's Ridge Christian School | ~250 in HS.

Blessed Trinity might be your best bet, but I am unsure what their admission policy will be for a child coming in mid year. Very few private schools take seniors, so obviously call admissions before doing much more.

Public schools, on the other hand, are well accustomed to students arriving at non-traditional times.

Is your child on a traditional (6/7 period) schedule or block schedule right now...
