I like how in NYC some subway station entrances lead to staircases to either side of the avenue, so you can use the subway station to cross the avenue without having to go through the turnstile and pay any money. The Peachtree Center station sort of allows that to cross Peachtree St, but you have to go down something like 5 stories of escalator and the elevator is only on one side, so not exactly the same thing.

On another front, what's humerous is depending on the study, Atlanta is very unsafe for pedestrians or one of the safest. People can't make up their minds.

Wasn't it less than a year ago Atlanta was rated as 14th on the list for the most dangerous for Pedestrians? Which is it? These continual surveys are about as credible as "J.D. Power and Associates" award for the "most reliable car during the first 3 minutes of ownership, the 2014 Soviet Trabant!"...or some such nonsense....

Christ, sooner or later, the "top 10 cities with the cleanest hookers" will be coming to CD.....

Atlanta is 8th most dangerous for pedestrians, according to: The 20 Deadliest U.S. Cities for Pedestrians | WIRED

Atlanta is 11th most dangerous for pedestrians in 2011, according to: http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2...king.html?_r=0

Rankings are total BS, as one can use whatever criteria/methodology they want to create a list that suites what they're trying to say.

I just find it rather curious that whenever Atlanta makes any "worst-of" list, the Atlanta Business Chronicle always come out with an article right after saying that its tops in those exact same areas it ranked poorly in.
