Just in case Atlanta gets a bit too full of itself...a reality check.

Really? miles and miles of trees vs refineries. I think you just made an argument against yourself there.

nice job finding a sepia tone picture of Atlanta, adds a nice effect...

Houston is actually at 517B. Atlanta punches far below its weight when looking at its population compared to its GDP. I mean, Seattle is literally just behind Atlanta and will probably surpass it in the next few years.

Yeah, some old, outdated picture of Houston will prove your point. DFW has worse air quality than Houston and is not anywhere near refineries and chemical plants.

I don't know. I haven't seen any Atlanta posters spamming the City vs. City, Houston, and Texas threads with posts like, "ATLANTA'S 15TH IN THE WORLD! TAKE THAT HOUSTON!!" or other such nonsense.

However, the fact that someone had to come into a simple thread on the ATLANTA forum discussing ATLANTA's GDP and mention HOUSTON's GDP when nobody was even talking about Houston in the first place implies that a small group of another city's posters are "full of themselves". To add insult to injury, you then proceed to tell us that you made that irrelevant remark because WE might become "full of ourselves", as if we're the ones gloating about GDP.

But don't worry, I'm sure that someone from this forum will go into the Houston forum and mention Atlanta's GDP...any day now...

And because of that one remark, this thread has now degenerated into another pointless Houston v. Atlanta argument. Great job.
