Also, the artists have a blank canvas to start it all over again, after the yuppie fest is over.
that's the true beef . Yuppies vs broke artist. Next time the yuppies will have to be more slicker. Funny thing what is the age range of the artist and yuppies, I'm guessing 30s to 40s??

For example, this is what happens when something normally goes in. This video was shot four years ago...

There is no possible spin that makes this anything other than one of the most idiotic protests ever conducted. It is historic and embarrassing in its stupidity. Destroying art to make a point is never okay.

Ironically, the money raised by the masquerade ball is going to a non-profit group that helps struggling artists.

Not creative, not cool....just plain stupid.....and embarrassing.

I saw the tunnel on that new NBC show, Constantine, tonight. They really should have whitewashed the tunnel before NBC Comcast filmed their greedy corporate show in the tunnel. A truly missed opportunity to make a stand against the evil empire.

I'm glad the people in Midtown didn't wreck Piedmont Park in protest of Music Midtown.

Someone that was hired by the event organizer to paint in the tunnel painted Osama Bin Laden. It's still there.

Ugh. I'd be embarrassed to be at that party.

regardless of how anyone feels about any of this, there is a plus side. As promised, new art is going up quickly. There were a bunch of different artists working yesterday afternoon, including some folks whose art I've never seen in the tunnel and that I was really impressed with.
