Medicare Advantage and Medigap availability is dependent on your zipcode.

Not all plans are available statewide - anywhere. You need to be more specific. If you want to know who the carriers are for your new location, plug in your zipcode on:

Medicare.gov: the official U.S. government site for Medicare

First drop down offers health plan (Medicare Advantage) search.

Dropdown for "Supplements" will allow you to search for Medigap providers in your new location. For rate info, you will need to call the companies directly (800 nos. on medicare website) or find an agent. I've done both.

To find a good insurance agent who specializes in Medicare insurance in your new location - ask the homeowners/auto insurance agent in your new area who he recommends, check the yellow pages, google your area, ask the SHIP people in your new state:
