I take it that you are a Real Estate Agent there. I and my husband are also native New Yorkers and 2 years ago moved to Florida. I'm not in love with it here and we are now lookng into moving to GA. We've looked into Winder and seem to like it. My husband is a RE Agent and my job would be easy to transfer. We have a 3 year old and I'm expecting another child. Can you tell me what and if you know anything about this town and is it good for raising a family?
Thanks, Sandra

Yes I am a real estate agent. Winder isn't bad, but a bit out there as to proximity to the main cities. It is growing as far as construction. But just for clarification did you mean Winder or Windward? Curious as this is the Roswell thread.

Roswell is one of the best places in metro atlanta. I would look for a house on the west side of Roswell by Roswell high school if you can afford it. really nice area and safe. Roswell high is a really good school as well, nearly everyone goes to college. Most people here were not born in GA, so you will fit in fine.

not very cheap anymore though. if you are looking for a house in a really nice area, expect to pay at least 290k for a used house while most new houses in that area are going for 500k +
