Kind of feel like this is an advertisement from someone who works at the station, but none the less I will engage. Atlanta radio in general sucks. We have too many top 40 stations. Every station that isn't top 40 or country will eventually be replaced with a top 40 station.

I used to listen to hip hop stations back in the 90s, but it has been hard to get in to anything that has come out in the last 10 years. All the autotuned "singing" is just painful garbage that makes me want to drill a hole in my ears.

If this station actually plays 80s and 90s music and, hopefully, doesn't just stick to the most popular music from the era, I would be down to listen.

Radio here is great. If you like 90s Hip hop listen to 97.5, 104.1 and 89.3 at night on the weekend. Chubb Rock has a radio show on 97.5. 89.3 plays old school underground hip hop on the weekends.

Plus this station. It's pretty good so far. I been listening to it online. They been playing music from every coast from Rakim and Ice Cube

V-103 has an old school mix daily at lunch time

You sounds like the typical person that complains about everything when you don't even listen to the stations that are available for you to listen to

i listen to rap/hip hop but i hate listening to the radio stations. Its like they play the same 12 songs every hour no matter what city i am in. The new rap music has a good song every now and then but not any real replay value. I will give this 1 a try since its something different and i will probably have memories of my childhood/teen days in the 90s

Yes, they only station we can pick up inside my job is V103 and they constantly play the same songs daily. I can only believe that these artist/managers/companies pay the DJ to play their song over and over. I thought Big Tigger wasn't gone never stop play Beyoncé "Drunk In Love" omg!

You can't go and listen to other stations online?

At night and on the weekend? Those are the least likely times that I will be in my car listening to the radio. I have V103 as one of my presets but whenever I go to it my ears are met with someone "singing" with autotune. Very rarely will I hear anything from the 90s, and if I do, at best is an old Dr Dre song or something.

I have never heard of 89.3 so ill give it a shot.

I grew up listening to V103 and Hot 97. I used to love them back in the 90s. I just don't really like modern hip hop. At least not what gets played on the radio.

If you go to a really big city like New York its almost like having satellite radio. There are so many stations. Yeah, there are still a dozen top 40 stations, but there are almost as many hip hop stations.

I haven't really heard much Atlanta rap in a long time. Maybe it is different now, but I wasn't a fan of the direction it was headed in 5 years ago.

That's nice. I'm good with listening to V-103 and WAOK.
