Something tells me that the drivers of 60 years ago were much more patient, respectful and careful than today's drivers...

Glad to have the streetcar teach drivers to be more careful. Drivers might be used to being able to run down walkers and bikers, but against the streetcar they will lose every time.

Why do folks keep posting about this when it happens to every single transit agency in the country!? Do we not realize this happens to the MARTA trains every once in a while too? I mean, I just don't see the big freakin deal! It's annoying that people do graffiti on nice things, but let's stop acting like they tore up the streetcars beyond repair.

Basically. There is a question to be raised about what the security guard was doing at the time, but i'm not going call for heads to roll over this yet. After all, it's just paint that gets cleaned off before the trains roll out the next day like you said.

I mean, it's nothing compared to this mess right here (ahhh the 80s):

I guess we should shut it all down...it's obviously a menace to society. LOL!
