Do you have any idea how much that was the first thing I waned to type? Who in the heck are these jokers? Decided not to be so invasive with the OP and ask other questions. Seriously though, I would consider it a PSA in the event that I decided to switch insurance companies if everything the OP said is true.

In a way I feel like you stole that money from the rest of us. You deserved the amount it would cost a body shop to fix it.

But this is probably just spam.

Get a lawyer and see your doctor and chiropractor. Sometimes the pain settles in months later but can last for years. Make them pay.

That is simply immoral.

I don't think who gets the ticket determines who pays. Some woman ran into me in a bank drive-thru and she got a traffic ticket but I still had to fix my own car.

Your insurance paid to fix your car. Then they billed her insurance, who reimbursed them what they paid you. You didn't know about it because there was no reason for you to know. It's called subrogation.

I am okay with that, although I was still out $500 for my deductible.

The woman was talking on her cellphone and backed right into me without even looking.

You had the option to take her to small claims court for the deductible.

I just chalked it up to life's aggravations. The woman told me she was going to pay for it but she never did, and it turned out the phone number and address she gave were no good.
