It would be great to get some honest opinions and info. Best schools and safest neighborhoods near the Atlanta suburbs. I see many forums and posts but, they are all from 10 years ago...
Id like see what is happening now and who has lived in the area for a bit. Also if you moved from the North such as myself NY, NJ, CT area. How does the lifestyle compare? Did you get used to the area what do you miss the most. I know taxes are way cheaper and cost of living is less. Here are the locations we are looking at.
Would like to know what is best and also the type of area it is. I also hear that nice working class towns have turned (sorry to say the word) "Ghetto".
I would like a nice clean safe upper-middle class town.
I'm looking to raise kids in a safe location.
400K+ range
best elementary , middle school, and high school?

Smyrna (North W)
Sandy Springs, East Cobb, Dunwoody, Roswell, Alpharetta, Milton, Johns Creek (North E)
Cobb County, Decatur city, buck head, Duluth, Decatur.

hope I can get some help on this !!!
Thanks guys

Where will you be working? Commute here can be up to 2 hours into Atlanta from some of those nicer places on the north side of town.
