I know the area well but it looks like you have to live there to see the discussions.

Good! That is whole neighborhood is surrounded by the Atlanta corporate limits by 3 sides since they completion of the annexation of the Charlie Yates Golf Course property. It's is a part of the areas that were referenced in the future annexed areas along with Gresham Park into the City of Atlanta. It makes service delivery, economic, and geographical sense to become apart of the city proper. The demographics and the home prices would be a great alternative those that want to live in the city proper on the Eastside and don't want pay for the overpriced properties in Kirkwood and East Atlanta neighborhoods.

If you don't live in the area(s) designated and verified as an actual resident by the page admin then you won't have access to their discussions.

Well, so be it. It would be nice to be able to get a candid look at what folks are saying about their neighborhood.

I'm hearing word that a contingent of south Dekalb property owners aren't here for this Greenhaven proposal anymore than their counterparts in southwestern Fulton are for South Fulton proposal. There might be a slew of petitioned annexations into Atlanta are coming soon. This is interesting, indeed...

Parkview seems like a good fit for the ATL, assuming it is revenue neutral. How did it get carved out in the first place?

Any areas that are included in the service delivery proposed areas are already "revenue generating". This is about logistics of service delivery and compatibility with the long range plans for the region.
