Atlant is still a place a lot of people want to move too whether people like it or not. The main concern is to gain our lost jobs back. Compared to the rest of the nation, Metropolitan Atlanta lost 8% of jobs in the "Great Recession" and have only gained 1% back. Not so good.

Do you have a source for this? I heard Atlanta recently broke even with the jobs lost from the recession. With it's current job growth, it's extremely hard to believe only an 8th of the jobs we lost were gained back. With 60-65k job growth per year, we should have already broken even. That's literally top 10 in raw job growth in the nation.

I don't think that's accurate.
Especially after reading an article like this.

Economist: Atlanta could add 140,000 jobs this year - Atlanta Business Chronicle

I met a friend of mine that works at the Dept Of Labor in Toco Hills the other day, and when I walked in, the whole place was basically empty of people except the one's that work there. Huge indicator of people that are working again. She said it has been this way for almost a year. Excellent news IMO..

No legitimate documented source. We had a speaker in a recent sales meeting at my job, and the speaker works in one of the branches for city Atlanta. He had some stats on job growth, unemployment and home sales, etc... I beleive it.
