Let's hope those pansies aren't indicative of where we are in the Wussification of America process.

Was in Charlotte all week last week and they had snow/ice on the roads all week and never missed a beat. 3 snow flakes fall in ATL and the whole city shuts down.

Uh, actually, yes, the schools basically did by having consequences for the students not attending.

You've obviously not been in the school system or even associated with it for a very long period of time. Students risk getting 0s on assignments or tests given during that day without the possibility of making them up. It also would likely be counted an as unexcused absence.
