I am moving to Atlanta, I have 3.5 year daughter and we are expecting a kid in next 3-4 months. I am going to work near Atlanta downtown & perimeter area. I am looking out for 2 bed apartment at safer area near to good maternity facility and preschool. My budget is around $2000. Please suggest!!

If your office is near the 75/285 junction, there's no reason for you to look anywhere but Smyrna/Vinings/Cumberland. Tons of things to do there, many places you could rent (including single family houses) at your desired price point or below. Sandy Springs is also very nice, but there's probably less in the way of desirable rentals there, and certainly your commute would be longer.

Thanks evannole!! I see Overton Rise as good community 2-3 miles from 75/285 junction and has good preschool options.
