Smh at some of the stuff I read on here smh.

Presidents have always came here but now it's only a problem when this president leaves in the afternoon. He leaves every other city around the same time. People generally don't have meetings at 3am. Smh

Maybe hang out for an hour or two. You know, be thoughtful of the probably over million plus people you are effecting.

Realize he isn't staying for some important meeting, its for fundraising. Which again, every president does. Which again, is wrong.

The TFR is from 11:45-18:30, But Ops at ATL will pause for few mins, Ground Stop (about 15mins) while AF1 is on Approach until it get to its "Parking" spot. The ATL ops will resume, Again when he ready to fly out there will be a Ground Stop While AF1 taxi to runway and takes off.

Also they need to do a runway/taxiway sweep before AF1 land to look for FOD, and Before AF1 takes off.

Flight are permitted are permitted in the TFR area. (Outside the 10NM freeze zone or inner core)

If he came into Dobbins the TFR would be more or less the same, with it centered on MGE not on ATL, but it still a 30NM TFR.

TFR = Temporary Flight Restriction
FOD = Foreign Object Debris

TFR are areas the FAA (in the US) blocks off Airspace for some reason. Where the Normal flying rules are effected, for some reason.

FOD "Stuff" on runway/taxiway/ramps/etc that should not be there, (Rocks, Garbage, Random nuts & bolts) "FOD" getting sucked into Jet Engines, run over, can do damage and may if the FOD is bad enought it can cause a plane to crash.

The Concorde in Paris "Crashed" due to FOD on the runway, in 2000.

Thanks. I figured it was something simple, but I hadn't heard those terms before.

I agree.

No president should be allowed to do this.
