First attempt to check it out, the line to enter was extremely long and the food lines looked even longer. Went to KSM to grab a bite and when we rode back to the Beltline Boil we were able to walk right in. It seemed to be well attended and a big success.

How strict are they at Dogwood Fest with bringing in outside drinks? I assume I can't just walk around with my own bottle of beer but if I'm more discreet about it?? Do they search bags?

Does anyone know how much single tickets are for the rides at Dogwood? They are having a family day on Friday where you can get a wristband for $10 ($12 day of) for unlimited rides/slides. I seem to recall from last year that a couple of those rides are not really for a child as small as 5-years-old. With a huge chance of rain on Friday I'm trying to figure out which day to go.

Do not bring a glass bottle, since no festival serve glass.

I think I might stay at the Dogwood festival the entire day this year. I might walk to the Festival on Ponce too

I went to the Dogwood fest twice and to the Festival on Ponce today. Both were cool. That area where the Festival on Ponce was at was so beautiful

Dogwood was disappointing. The food and drink selection was bad. 3 food trucks, and no local beer served. Placing the booths on the path makes the crowds very cramped, move the booths to the curb and allow the tens of thousands of visitors to use the entire width of the path. Kids rides had long lines and the music was OK.
