Why more modest cmmunities are not built like this is puzzling,
I was with you until you said Big Lots. I just don't see them having an urban store that fits the standard we should aim for in South Downtown.

I do think the neighborhood could turn into the next hot one. It's already getting some hip venues and 222 Mitchell is supposed to be fixed up. Hotel Row and the surrounding area is one of my favorite spots in the city, as far as buildings and layout go. It's nowhere near as bad as it's sometimes made out to be.

It is puzzling, though.
True but I mean more developements like Atlantic Station or Glenwood Village but for a less affluent market.More solidly middle class. Not upper middle class to well off.

Not sure I understand. It would be a miracle just to get some asphalt up there.

Have you reported it via atl311.com or contacted your councilperson?

Street lighting is lousy on the freeways.

We're talking a billion dollars here. Asphalt won't do.

It's handy for reporting a problem.

Whether or how quickly you get a response, well....
