I actually do live in Gwinnett. The wording could've been better. We have a place on Lake Hartwell which is why we go to South Carolina. It's not that bad of a drive when we're up there but it'd be nicer to get some on the way up and actually spend money in the state.

LOL, there's always a rush of North Carolinians--especially Charlotteans--and Georgians into SC around 4th of July and New Year's. I mean there are even tons of fireworks stands along I-85 going through SC.

Shelton, Phantom, both right at the border. Big Zacks is a little farther in. Going to Tennessee there's one that uses a cool fake facade on I 24 to make the store look absolutely ginormous. Then there are a couple right after the border in Bama off of 20.
My dad has mentioned that back when GA had a lottery and SC did not, there was always a rush for the big jackpots at the last exit on 85. A whole store survived dedicated to the lottery with eager South Carolinians. Once SC added it the business dried up.
