I think most have already given up on 2016 as well, unless the Braves to something amazing in the off-season.

Its not going to happen. You are better off betting on the Falcons and Hawks. The Braves of Cobb will be a bad team for long long time.

Rebuilding or not....the 2nd half of this season has been an absolute disgrace. We must have a .250 win record since the all star break.

Freddi out!

For you folks that weren't around for it, this is a repeat of the 1980s...only this time with the team headed out of town for sugar on top I suppose.

Braves trade Andrelton Simmons to the Angels for SS Erick Aybar and top pitching prospects Sean Newcomb and Chris Ellis (plus $2.5 million): http://sports.yahoo.com/news/braves-trade-simmons-

Aybar is good...2014 All-Star and lifetime average of .276, but he's no Simmons. I wish they would have asked me first.

Simmons is a proven gold glove and he stays healthy, more than we can say about Freddie.

Not excited about 2016--I expect for the division to be much tougher as well--to think that the Braves and the Mets had similar records through mid-way of last season.

I hate the trade. Simmons was my favorite Braves player by far. We got rid of the best defensive SS in the game for a guy whose offensive production is already starting to decline. I do like the lefty prospect we got in the deal, but at this point in time he is unproven. What the hell is this team doing?

I'm not a fan of this new GM at all.
