Hi. I'm a Guy in his mid 40's, Blue collar guy. I'm considering moving to Atlanta. QUESTION I HAVE, is where to live. Rent is much higher I noticed, but I have a budget of around $1,100- 1,200 Monthly for a 1 bedroom rental. There are so many places, it's confusing. I want to live among other like myself. Any recommendations? Thanks....Donnie

What do you mean? You want to live around others men that are in their mid-40s and blue collar?
or is there some other defining factor? Lifestyle, interests etc?

I am 32, engineer, after living in Atlanta for 2 years, I really hate this city. Nothing downtown (living) is reasonable. Unless it's section 8, and good luck with that. The traffic is downright aweful. It serves as a time to reflect why you decided to move to atlanta in the first place. Crime. We have to commute 50 minutes each way to send our kid (8y/o) to a school that isnt terrible. I would really evaluate if there are other options that are not a gridlocked ghetto.
