If we're talking medical purposes there should be no age limit.

For recreational purposes we can be certain there will be an age limit, presumably age 21 like alcohol. With that being said, I think much of the tendency American youth have to abuse alcohol comes from the way we treat it. When kids grow up having a small glass of beer every now and then they tend to treat it differently. This is similar to the effect of abstinence-only sex education.

When someone is told something is bad and they shouldn't do it, they are more likely to do it in an irresponsible fasion. Drug use rates are lower in the Netherlands, partly because rebellion is a motive of many teens who start using early.

Wasn't directed at me, but I'll bite.

No, but I also wouldn't be ok with my 18 year old kid drinking beer every day. No one said it should be a free-for-all and the legal age to buy/consume is 21, just like alcohol.

Moderation is the key for any vice. Legalize it, regulate it, tax it and let adults decide what they want to do.

Have you researched why it's illegal?

You should probably just stop posting in this topic...from the outside looking in I don't think you realize how ridiculous you sound.

It doesn't matter. I will say this......I need for it to stay illegal for my career field. It being illegal is good job security but my opinion doesnt matter

Ahh, I see, you have ulterior motives. Should we go back to prohibition then and criminalize beer, wine, etc. to really give you some job security?

Didn't expect this kind of comment from you.

This is probably the most unintelligent post I've seen here in a while...

This is much of what's wrong with the world. You don't care whose neighborhood gets wrecked or whose kid gets shot. The only thing you care about is money.

This tops off you saying that you ride in the HOV lane alone because you don't have time to wait in traffic like everyone else.

The funny thing is, afdinatl can't even see this post. I got blocked by this poster for calling them out before.
