Day shift strip clubs (minimum wage, living, gyms)

Are there worse jobs? Sure, but there's very little about strip joints that's positive for either the performers or their audience. They devalue both as human beings.

Is it really hurting your life? Many strippers DO enjoy doing it and many take pride in it,especially poll dancing which takes a lot of practice and body strength to be good at.

There are competitions for poll dancing alone. Try not to place your own arbritary morals and hang ups on other people.

Most strip clubs are still places to go to get laid, its basically legal hookers. If you have money you can do whatever you want at most strip clubs thats why rappers and celebs still go, not my scene but whatever.

Maybe that's how it is in Ky but here they are places were people go to chill at also. It be more women there than men sometimes

I do not see these women as being devalued. They are making tons of money for doing next to nothing. If they aren't, they are doing it wrong and should stop immediately.

All this is voluntary. If not, then it needs to be shut down immediately.

Even all these years later, I still find it an odd question in that I didn't know that's what some people do during the day. My friend's husband used to go to Mardi Gras on Powers Ferry and New Northside Dr. between appointments (financial planner) around lunch time. I have never personally been inside but he clearly liked it so I assume it was at least a bit nice.

I worked for an HVAC company in Florida that had a contract to fix a local strip clubs air conditioners. I believe they opened around 10 or so. I think I only went once or twice but when the call came in all the service techs would be fighting each other to go there. It always seemed like it took a lot of extra time to service those AC's with a lot of callbacks and a lot of forgotten tools there..... Strange.

I agree that there is something a little sad about being in a strip club before 9pm. It's a sad look into the underbelly of American culture. You almost feel bad for the strippers and the patrons. Let's face it, the "prime" strippers aren't going to be fighting over the morning shift. That shift gets stuck on"C-Section Cindy", the veteran with 20 years experience!

Oh and nothing worse than a strip club smell on a summer day when the AC's went out. They got to keep them at a cold 60 degrees or the stench will start fermenting.

You can easily say the same for prostitution...they aren't being devalued, they are making tons of money for doing next to nothing, and it is voluntary. It's a horrible argument for stripping.

I agree man, some of the low end strip clubs are disgusting some of the dancers have a beer belly, no teeth its sad and look coked out or like they just did a meth binge. Even the high end strip clubs I have been too can be trashy because most their strippers are still coked out, not my scene. Only strip club I ever liked was in LA and they had like some crazy acts for couples but that was it.
