I've come to the conclusion that when I encounter a group three wide (or just a group of two crossing over their half of the path for no reason) while walking, I do not move over or slow down. We either run into each others shoulders or they move. If people keep accomidating the selflish, they will continue to be selfish. But that's a bit harder to do on a bike.
I hate more the oblivious single pedestrians who instead of staying to the right walk halfway into the middle; annoying to pass these idiots on a bike.

Great comment there about people who think they own the path or in my experience, ones who think they own a (narrow) sidewalk & walk 2 or 3 abreast. Like you, I don't generally give way anymore.
And koko, I believe that Wayne Mason wanted to cram his high rise towers proposal into the spot of land being discussed in this latest proposal. If not, it was to have been crammed in somewhere in the immediately adjacent properties.
Mason was a Gwinnett developer w/ a mindset that reflected his Gwinnett development ideas which failed to understand, respect or appreciate the zoning standards that were gradually developed for Midtown as regards both height & density. Intown quality of life issues seemed not to be in his playbook at that time.

They should have a rule that says each person must stay at least one elbow's length away from everybody else.
