So over 50 people got shot in Chicago this weekend and someone made a thread about it in the Chicago forum. The second post In that thread someone told the mod to get rid of that thread. 5 mins later it was deleted. Not locked but deleted. That would never happen in certain forums on here

Not to be argumentative, but I really don't like to see significant growth in the suburbs when there are no transportation alternatives available. I guess it will force the issue of transit expansion in the suburbs as more growth just seems painful.

Population growth around transit nodes is about the only smart growth in Atlanta right now. Otherwise, it is pretty much a burden.

But different people have different views on that subject...it's not important to everyone to have public transit access or smart growth, and many people choose where to live based on economics more than anything else.
