Alright. Glad to see Cobb Co onboard. Glad to be proved wrong on this!

The metro is going to need to figure out a way to come together despite the potshots lobbed in all directions— because they aren't going to stop.

Would be awesome to see the Chattahoochee turned into a proper waterfront with connections to intown. Wonder how Cobb will react to their moat getting flipped to a place to bring people in the region together.

No, the Chattahoochee should not be Atlanta's waterfront.

It should be Peachtree Creek...similar to the riverwalk in San Antonio.

Since I have lived here, I have only known it to truly flood good-fashion one time. That was around the section near The Lovett School and Canoe. I enjoy visiting the parks, but I cannot really see any part of the Chattahoochee River being a valid waterfront. It's more like a river runs through it.

I have accepted that Atlanta is pretty much land-locked and even with large man-made lakes like Lanier, it's just not the same as the real thing.

Peachtree Creek looks pretty trashy in the Piedmont to Cheshire Bridge stretch. That area could certainly be improved. Beyond there its in more of a natural state and runs through a series of parks and then borders the Emory campus with a trail (more of a deer path) running along it.
