Re: swim/tennis--some neighborhoods do allow you to join the pool, and plenty of people play on tennis teams out of other neighborhoods. But it is really nice to have in your own neighborhood and if possible I would hold out for it. There are some neighborhoods that go to Dodgen middle/Pope high school (also an excellent school where I believe your daughter would be sufficiently challenged) that have proximity to Roswell/river Jf/Roswell intersection. Bishops Green and Edgemere--worth checking out.

Thanks Deacongirl! That was actually our first area we looked at but then we kind of nixed it because s/t wasn't IN the hood and too many people going private. But there are going to be tradeoffs so maybe who the heck cares if everyone doesn't go to the same school as long as some do. That's what we are debating as there are some nice new builds in Mountaire hood which will be close to the new SS development/city center deal. I worry about Ridegeview not being "East Cobb" level though. Basically I have a million thoughts in my head at once as you can tell.

We looked at Ashebrooke and I can't remember the details. It's all becoming a blur.

Just curious why you aren't considering Baldwin Farms? I asked for you on on East Cobb FB group and many people are suggesting it. Also great location.

I like the houses in Baldwin Farms. Just discovered in. Haven't seen in person. It's just getting a bit "out there." WG was really stretching it but I'll look at BF.

I second this.

Sounds like you would benefit from just driving around and see what's out there: various neighborhoods, their housing stock, the swim/tennis facilities, the location, etc. Identify a handful if houses/subdivisions and drive by. Pull into other subdivisions that catch your eye. Take notes. Keep your eye on your location via Google maps, so you know where you are in relation to major roads, etc (gets curvy and hilly by the river!) Check out Timber Ridge rd. and Little Willeo Rd

Good luck
