Somehow, I forgot about the condos at Mangêt, in Downtown Marietta, within walking distance to the Square. There are only eight of them - the development, which is ongoing, is comprised mostly of single family homes and townhouses, so the condos do not come on the market all that often. Here's the most recent listing, which sold a few weeks ago for $190k. Tons of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. These were extremely well built and have very high quality fit and finish for the price point.

Glad you like them! They're very nice and the location can't be beaten. I actually know someone who owns one and is looking to sell it, though she doesn't have it listed. Hers will probably sell for a bit more as it has an extra room at one end of its two car garage as well as its own private courtyard in addition to the balcony. (While they all have two car (tandem) garages and balconies, only two of the eight have that setup with the extra room and courtyard.) Let me know if interested and I can put you in touch with her. I don't know her well, but well enough to tell her if someone might be interested!

More about the development here. The plan has changed a bit since this was printed, but the same general concept and layout will still be implemented (alas, less the pool...)

Thanks evannole for offering to get in touch with your friend~ that's very kind of you, but we're not quite ready to buy yet. We still own a house here so we're not in a position to buy another at this time
. We have a few years before we retire/move so at the moment we're just scoping out areas. I am very interested in this area though, so it is very much on our list of possibles.
