It's such Bull. Wouldn't be surprised if he pulled a few strings to get the bill in his care.

The man has it out for killing MARTA's plans. His Facebook post shows just how little he really knows about what's going on and how much he thinks he's doing the right thing. The reality is that he's keeping his own people from having a chance to vote on taxing themselves.

Again, I have no words. In case you need to brush up, this is the same Sen. Albers who wrote this.

It's almost as if Sen. Albers really wants this whole proposal to die.

Oh good God what a joke. At this rate, MARTA rail expansion will start by the year 2040. And that's being generous.

I would recommend calling, faxing and emailing the man. Stop by his office and talk to him.

Also start building a grassroots campaign involving as many people as you can. You will have to work on other politicians as well.

You could contact him directly and voice your concerns. Here's his public contact information as pulled from the Georgia Senate website:

- Capitol office: (404) 463-8055
- District office: 1076 Canton Street, Roswell, GA 30075; (678) 667-3656
- E-mail: info@senatoralbers.com

He also has a Facebook page, if that amounts to much. I've noticed some criticism to Albers' ideas on his Facebook page, though, which is good.

(Side note: I triple checked City-Data's TOS, and I didn't find anything in the TOS that bans posting publicly-posted contact information of a state senator. If this is out of order, mods, feel free to delete this post.)

That vehemently opposed guy was put in freaking charge of the bill? Unbelievable. Could Georgia government possibly get any more lame and backwards? Makes me sick.
