There's Instacart...

I can see how it would be handy on occasion. Say you're on the way home and just need to pick up a few items. Bam.

Yes, it should.

Let me bring up another sector with drive through services. Unless you are Little Caesar's, pizza drive through services have opportunities for improvements. How long does it take to make the dough, load it with toppings, put the pizza into the oven to cook for several minutes, then package it in the box? I know it takes more than 90 seconds. If Papa John's and Pizza Hut cannot move this quickly in their drive through locations, they should reconsider their strategy.

I am all for picking out my produce by hand, but let me tell you something...if I could drive thru and pick up my things, I'm all in.

You ever have that last ingredient you forget to get and have to head back to the store and stand in line forever just to get it. You're not burning calories that way. You're just standing still. Go to the gym.

I remember there were two major grocery delivery services here around the early 2000s, but their business models involving the delieries seemed to suck so they were destined to go bankrupt. If other major cities can have bacon and paper towels delivered from a corner store, then I believe it should have worked here, but I digress.

I would definitely hit up the drive-thru to pick up my groceries.

What Amazon / PizzaHut / Papa John ... Are Not really DriveThru's I would call them the more Pick/Thru's

You pre-order, give them X length of time to prepare/Pick the other and you pick it up at a "DriveThru" window/door at or after the requested time.

I agree. That's why I always skip the drive thru and go inside.
