I'm an Independent and I wouldn't vote for Hillary if she were the last candidate on Earth!

I am an independant too. I would prefer to see a Rand Paul & Bernie Sanders match up in the general election. But Bill was not a bad president at all, so I would go for Hillary over Trump for sure.

i am a democrat and i'm honestly not too thrilled about hillary. she's just too corporate and disconnected from today's issues. she's been in washington too long to really have a handle on what our country's next steps should be, and i'm afraid she'll defer those decisions to the top campaign donor.

i agree with a lot of bernie sanders' points and i'll vote for him in the primary— but i just don't think he has the pizazz to be a general election candidate.

I don't think so. At least, not in 2016. But I have to say that Jason Carter and Michelle Nunn put up a great fight in 2014.

Georgia may be close to blue but like someone posted, people have to come out and vote. That base needs to be energized. Then again, a lot of eligible voters regardless of political affiliation aren't energized. People are finding out slowly but surely that politicians look out for big business and not the masses.

Wow! I almost spit out my drink when I read that.

This is either sarcasm or delusion.

You won't have to worry about Trump. The last 2 elections proved undecided voters prefer eloquent speech and decorum over policy ideas. Trump is a disaster in both and will keep putting his foot in his mouth until he reaches irrelevancy.

Like you, I would love to see Rand Paul get more play, but doubt he will. It's a popularity contest. He's not popular.

Meh, the only way Georgia would swing blue is if the Democratic base was energized enough to turn out in huge numbers. Democrats aren't excited from Hillary, in fact, if I had to guess, she only has the support she has for three reasons:

1) She's a woman. "Why not go for the double whammy, first an African-American then a woman?"
2) Name recognition. There are some people who hear "Clinton" and think of the good ol' 90s.
3) Keeping the GOP out of the White House. "WE MUST KEEP THE GOP OUT OF THE WH AT ALL COSTS!!!11!!!"

So there isn't so much support for HRC as "support". That's not going to get out the Dem vote in Georgia the way Obama did in 2008.

No. Both Romney and Purdue won by 7-8%. No way GA is a swing state this time around.
