Looking to get married on a Sunday next April and working with a limited budget (5k). Any recommendations for a location to hold the ceremony and reception for max 50 guests? I would like a venue $600 or less that allows me to bring my own food and alcohol.

Also, any recommendations for a day of coordinator- love to be able to squeeze one in my budget if possible.

Thanks!

Heritage Sandy Springs. Beautiful site. Glover Park in the middle of the Marietta Square is also a great spot, but being a city park, they won't allow you to bring alcohol.

Thanks, I was actually looking at Heritage Sandy Springs online tonight and it looks gorgeous. I will check out Glover Park as well.

Solarium (I think) in Oakwood part of Decatur. It's the old Scottish-Rite hospital. My neice got married their last month and it was awesome!

The solarium is beautiful, they are a little pricey for me though. Looks like 1700 for a rental. Wish I could!

Roswell has River Landing which is on the River.

City of Roswell, GA - Official Website - Roswell River Landing

The City of Atlanta has Garden Hills

Garden Hills Recreation Center Rentals

Dunwoody Nature Center has some new space, though not sure how large it is or what fees are.

Do you have friends who live in neighborhoods with swim/tennis. Sometimes, they have clubhouses which are often very nice and fairly reasonable. Your friends would have to be the official renter, but it is easy to do.

Piedmont Park is beautiful venue and Magnolia Hall a great place for a reception. Contact the Piedmont Park Conservancy.

Its going to be extremely hard for you to find a $600 venue, a Sunday evening date , and a place that allows you own liquor.

Vecoma at Yellow River is cheap but about $1200 for a Sunday and you have to use their food which runs $30-40 a plate.

Roswell River Landings allows you to bring your own food and liquor, but I cant remember how much the venue was.
