I've seen the place. Looks like waste of money and space to me. Maybe, just maybe, someone sold a grand idea, got all of the pieces in place to make their construction and contractor firms fat and happy, and then took off into the night.

Sounds like typical Atlanta metro planning and con-games to me. I know enough of Atlanta to know that PLANNING is a really hard concept.

The moderator clearly stated why it was locked. Did you go and read it?

From the thread:

Quote:
Per the op this is a duplicate thread - please see the other.
If I had to guess, it won't be long until this thread is locked too. A thread complaining about a mod locking a thread that is a duplicate of another thread, who would've thunk it?

Being the OP I would love to get a link to the other thread.

I'm not sure why it was locked. One of my replies was somehow posted 3 times. I reported it to moderator, didn't know the thread would be locked.

This is what I posted that showed up 3 times:

There is an upcoming mayoral election in Morrow, along with 2 city council seats. We'll be eagerly watching the campaign process. Since the Olde Towne Morrow issue is unresolved, some think it's time to elect a new mayor. The current city administration isn't publicly commenting about Olde Towne, so it is assumed no progress has been made in determining its future. Some residents think a surprise announcement about Olde Towne's Morrow's future will come right before the November election. If they are right, I hope it will be a good move for the city. It will be interesting, and the voters are watching. Morrow residents were excited about Morrow having a real downtown, an actual city center, which was original proposal for Olde Towne Morrow.

Truth be told yours ought to be pulled too.

Note how concern about the locked thread was used as a pre-text to launch into a biased anti-Atlanta tirade.
