More high-tech paying jobs for Metro Atlanta....
Quote:
Enterprise software maker VMware Inc. (NYSE: VMW) is planning a major expansion of its Atlanta-based AirWatch business — a move that would create more than 300 jobs, Atlanta Business Chronicle has learned.
Palo Alto, Calif.-based VMware is said to be scouting the Central Perimeter business district and North Fulton submarkets for 50,000 square feet-to-70,000 square feet of office space, sources said. The company may also expand in its current building, 1155 Perimeter Center West, where AirWatch occupies about 200,000 square feet.

If only companies use Microsoft phones then you get free MDM with Exchange if you are Microsoft shop. Being on iOS in the enterprise is very expensive to manage.

PCs are now cheaper to manage than Mobile phones.

We never used it for phones. We used it for android based devices out in the field. Samsung made their own plugin which worked great for Android vers 4. Unfortunately AW seemed to be taken completely by surprise when version 5 rolled out. Took a few weeks til we had anything working even remotely like it should. Then there's HP who's pushing their own technology...
