If people don't want lots of other people walking or biking through their neighborhood, they should gtfo the middle of the city. Glenwood Park is tailor made for pedestrians.

Yes, and luckily the support at the meeting was almost unanimous. The reason Glenwood Park is so popular is its promise of walkability the Beltline cannot connect down here fast enough.

I am sure they will. It is part of APD's coverage.

Yes it will (they already cover the nearby Beltline parks (DH Stanton & Boulevard)) and I imagine as the Beltline grows the numbers of officers will too.

Is the Beltline force is a separate unit within APD? I wonder how many officers they have and where their HQ is. Do they patrol on horseback, bikes or on foot, or all of the above? I wonder if they keep separate stats or just lump them in to whatever zone they are in?

HQ is on the future Eastside Trail extension, https://www.google.com/maps/place/At....3585098?hl=en

The Atlanta Police Department has a dedicated unit – the Path Force Unit – that is responsible for providing public safety to the Atlanta BeltLine and adjacent parks and neighborhoods.
Path Force is considered one of the community policing pieces of APD, operating in the same mindset as their homeless outreach officers and such. Really, they're a great opportunity to reintroduce foot and bike patrols within the city that's largely seen that go away.

Do they police other trails such as Freedom park, PATH400, Chastain park, the Trolley Trail, etc?

Don't think so. But it doesn't mean it is not patrolled. It is not going to make sense to have a precinct for everything.
