Wow.

That would be pathetic.

But I bet you're right.

Monte Carlo Simuation

I studied this when I was an undergrad.

No, cq. I think MARTA is great and look forward to the day when it is embraced as it should be.

Finally something is being done about that awful Peachtree Road corridor! I used to go watch football games at a couple of bars in Buckhead on Sundays, both near the intersection with Pharr Road, and the drive from I-85 always seemed to be grueling even on a Sunday morning. I'm not going to apologize for continuously switching lanes, because that's the only way you can keep moving on that road.

I also witnessed a big crash at the intersection of Peachtree and Pharr many years ago, when a car started turning left from northbound Peachtree onto westbound Pharr, but the driver didn't see the SUV coming in the outer southbound lane because of all the cars wanting to turn left from southbound Peachtree onto eastbound Pharr. Thankfully nobody was killed. It was that day that I noticed how Pharr had left-turn arrows in both directions, and Peachtree had a left-turn arrow southbound, but not northbound. What the hell?

I'm also getting damn sick and tired of bellyaching bicyclists with their "cars are evil" bull****. I don't have a problem at all with adding bike infrastructure in cities, but I do have a problem with anti-car morons who don't even want outdated, inefficient and dangerous roads upgraded to safe and proper standards because dammit, that's an investment in car infrastructure, and we've invested too much money in that over the last 60 years!

These people have convinced themselves that anybody who prefers driving a car over riding a bike is a bully who must be punished with disinvested infrastructure. Ironically, they resort to bullying themselves when somebody has the nerve to consider improving car infrastructure in any way whatsoever. Taking an "everything except cars" approach to multimodal transportation investment is just as backwards as taking the "cars only" approach.

Yep, this is a no brainier. The left lanes are useless without a turn lane.

.
This plan isn't even like that, it is about updating a old road design and adding bike lanes that way everyone who uses the corridor can have a safe route. FYI, most cyclists also own cars.

Ponce has continually gotten worse outside Boulevard. Don't know about inner Ponce-I avoid it. Maybe lots of people are avoiding inner Ponce.
