Is killing me. I'm a Braves fan. My whole life. I'm currently quite always away from them and only get to follow through ESPN or other online articles. It's become quite frustrating as I e gone through three jerseys in the last year. Those suckers are not cheap. Why? Ut has become a pain to watch our team trade one player after another and for what? Potential? How many pitchers does a team need? How do they plan on filling this new stadium if they continue to field a minor league team? Hopefully this master plan works.

You will find strong opinions here, including me.

Grew up with the Braves. But now realize they have they are now the Braves in name only. And it goes far beyond just fielding a winning team. Even if they win the world series in 2017, I will not be a fan.

I hope the Braves' master plan involves improving the roster with better talented athletes who can help the club win now in order to win later. The departures of Andrelton Simmons and Cameron Maybin through trades should be a signal upgrades are coming.

It takes years to build a great team. We were season ticket holders back in the 70s and 80s with seats directly behind the dugout. You literally couldn't give them away.

You just have to stick with them. That makes the victories even sweeter when they start coming.

I could only hope so...I had just bought a Simmons jersey two weeks prior. After buying a Gattis and Heyward jerseys. lol. I am holding off on a Freeman jersey.

I hope it all works out. I do know bats have been needed for quite sometime. Hopefully they come.

I can agree...After the string of consecutive division titles happened, we went through a dry spell and I thought it was finally turning around. The last couple of years we had a decent team, but no offense (minus the September collapses) and I was hoping this would be the year. Then the roster remake started.

If you want more detail, there are a lot of threads on the Braves and Cobb out there. No need to repeat it all again here.
