Fourthwarden, to clarify your post, you walked 'on' Edgewood Ave, not through Edgewood. Edgewood the neighborhood is east of Moreland Ave, bordered by Dekalb Ave to the north and Memorial/I-20 to the south. And the Kirkwood neighborhood to the east... not to be confused with Kirkwood Ave in Reynoldstown... Edgewood Ave is in the Old Fourth Ward heading downtown.

Well I live in Tucker (ITP) near Northlake Mall and I must say this area hasn't seen a significant change over the last 4 years I've been in this area. I must say that is a good thing. Other than stores closing inside the mall, I haven't seen much change in businesses in this area. It actually been more businesses moving in since I first relocated here from Cobb County. We have a nice police presence in the area, and mostly restaurants and stores closes around 9pm. It really reduces the traffic flow around here.
