Here's another option for non-car transportation.

It also solves the grocery shopping issue, since it has a trunk.

That is my feeling, too, especially within the city limits. The more we get off the roads the smoother the sailing for the rest of us.

Y'all know me, I'm always trying to think outside the box and come up with alternative forms of transportation.

Scooters, maglevs, gondolas, you name it. I even suggested an enhanced taxi fleet (a la uber) back when people said it was crazy.

Well, how about the electric unicycle? I don't know if it's street legal but it zips along as well as a bicycle.

Or Segway? I like the scooter idea, even golf carts for small intown neighborhoods would be nice! At last then your not as prone to crashing compared to a scooter. You can also bring a roadie, non-alcoholic of course!
