I guess we fundamentally disagree that just turning more of Dekalb into the City of Atlanta is the best way to fix this inability to coordinate. The need for both parties to be able to coordinate with surrounding counties and cities does not go away when one grows and the other shrinks. I'd also disagree that this annexation really "cleans up" borders rather than just moving them, but that's an entirely different discussion.

Decaturish and Atlanta Progressive News cover these things. You get very little from the AJC until things are nearly decided and sometimes not even then.
