Forsyth is a geographically smaller county, and only has one city. It should just consolidate Cumming and Forsyth.

A township model would work well for areas like East Cobb and Vinings, and might have worked well for Peachtree Corners.

cumming's city limits are very very small compared to the rest of the county, and the city offers limited services; for example it doesn't have its own school system, library system, water, power, etc. forsyth county virtually runs everything already, so it wouldn't be advantageous to consolidate. also, it would be quite confusing to expand the city limits to that degree since most of the county is not considered part of cumming.

I support this.

Here is hoping they also pull back county powers too so they stop acting like cities.

I am okay with counties providing services so long as they do a good job of serving the taxpayer.

There's nothing inherent about the city form of government that makes it more efficient or less corrupt.

Actually Cumming does provide water, It has the permit from the Army Core of Engineers to draw water out of Lake Lanier,

And uses every chance it get to BlackMail Forsyth County use of the Common Draw Pipe they have, But Cumming has the permits to draw, so each time a SPLOT tax division is done, Cumming uses its COE Permit to get a bigger SPLOT payout then it should.
